Shovel Point #2

From the rest stop parking lot at Tettegouche State Park in Minnesota take short hike along the lake will lead to Shovel Point. Along the way you can take in breath-taking views from overlooks on top of sheer cliffs. Once you get to end of the point, take in the view on the back side. The water is a beautiful deep green color that blends well with the fir trees. The rocks are orange in color contrasting well against the green. If the waves are coming in from the right direction they can be seen crashing into small alcoves in the rocks.
