A warm and sunny summer day calls to you. It is telling you it is time to take a hike and explore nature. Simply to see what there is to see. So you decide to go for a hike along the Caribou River up on Minnesota’s North Shore. It will be an easy hike that is only a mile long and ends at Caribou Falls. As you approach your destination you can hear the waterfalls echoing off the canyon walls. The air is fresh and clean. You start down the stairway that leads to the base of the waterfall. The stress of everyday life has left your body. Relaxed you start to see new things. A small shaft of light has made its way down into the canyon and lit up the small section of foliage on a tree. You pause for a moment and take in all of the detail revealed before continuing on to the waterfall.
