Lake Ice

On a cold March day a stop at Kitchi-Gammi Park in Duluth Minnesota was called for. The lake here was frozen over but the shifting ice had created a pressure ridge. The Ice itself was a good foot thick and a beautiful blue color. The pressure ridge stood better than six feet tall in spots. Being a city boy this was an amazing sight.
