The inland ocean called Lake Superior makes a great location to observe the sun rise and set. Sunsets are tricky and they depend on your location and time of year. Sunrises however are easy. If you stay at Bluefin Bay or Americinn in Tofte, Minnesota all you have to do is get up just before sunrise and head to the boardwalk on the east side of the highway. This is a good spot to watch the sunrise.
